Which rod should you choose for migratory fish fishing?

Lure weight

To choose your rod wisely, you must first take into account the weight of the lures you will be casting. The maximum weight must not exceed the intended casting range for the rod.

Rod length

Next, regarding length, a boat rod will tend to be shorter (up to around 2m30) so as to stay within the sonar beam, but also because, unlike a rod for fishing far from the bank which will tend to be longer (from 2m40-50), you will have fewer obstacles to work around, less casting into the wind, etc.
