Description
Franco Vivarelli Standard FV102 #6 semi-automatic fly reel
A benchmark for fly fishing
The Franco Vivarelli Standard FV102 #6 is a semi-automatic fly reel that has been recognised for many years for its efficiency and reliability. Made in Italy, it is aimed at fly fishermen who are looking for a precise, lightweight and pleasant reel to use at the waterside.
This original Franco Vivarelli model is particularly well suited to light to medium fishing. It is perfectly suited to anglers who wish to gain in reactivity, limit slack fly line on the ground and maintain better control during active fishing phases.
Fast and controlled semi-automatic line recovery
The main advantage of the Standard FV102 lies in its semi-automatic recovery system. A simple action on the lever allows the fly line to be retrieved quickly, without having to turn a conventional handle.
This design brings real comfort during fishing sessions. It allows faster contact to be regained with the line, reduces the risk of the fly line snagging on the bank, and improves reactivity during takes or fish movements.
Lightweight, robust and durable construction
The frame and spool are made from graphite composite, a material that is both lightweight, strong and corrosion-resistant. This design ensures good durability while maintaining excellent balance with modern fly rods.
Its precise and reliable mechanism provides smooth, consistent and reassuring operation. The finely adjustable drag allows the tension to be adapted according to the target fish, the leader size and the conditions encountered.
The original Franco Vivarelli, made in Italy
The Standard FV102 is the original semi-automatic reel from Franco Vivarelli. Its proven design, ease of use and reliability have made it a benchmark among many fly fishermen across Europe.
It is a reel designed for anglers who are looking for an efficient, durable tool that stays true to the spirit of finesse fishing, with a genuine technical identity and a unique handling feel.
