The lure sliding problem

In a Texas rig or on an offset hook, soft lures tend to slide down the shank during repeated retrieves or after a bite. This sliding exposes the hook shank wire, alters the lure's presentation, and reduces the hook-up ratio. Some anglers use Super Glue to secure the lure, but this method makes changing lures difficult.
