Description
Flashmer Special Pollock Leader with Elver
This Flashmer leader is specifically designed for pollock fishing with a natural or artificial elver. Imitating one of the most effective baits for this species, this ready-to-use rig optimizes the presentation of the elver over the bottoms where pollock actively hunt.
Elver rig
The elver (small eel) is one of the most prized baits for pollock and coalfish, particularly over wrecks and shallow banks. This rig incorporates all the elements needed to present this bait naturally (appropriately sized hooks, strong nylon) while maintaining a convincing action in the currents.
Fishing areas and techniques
Ideal for fishing from an anchored or drifting boat over wrecks, rocks and shallow banks along the French coast. It pairs perfectly with a sliding bomb or cylindrical lead for a natural bottom presentation.
Essential characteristics
- Rig optimized for presenting an elver
- Large hooks adapted to pollock
- Strong nylon for powerful fights
- Vertical fishing from a boat
- Effective on pollock and coalfish
