Flashmer BDL14 Surf T-Swivel Leader

The Flashmer BDL14 leader is a surfcasting rig specifically designed for difficult sea conditions. It incorporates an innovative transparent T-Swivel that prevents snood tangles during powerful casts and retrieves over sand or rock bottoms.

T-Swivel innovation

The transparent T-Swivel is the centrepiece of this rig: its T-shape allows the snoods to position themselves perpendicularly to the main line, preventing crossings and tangles that reduce the effectiveness of multi-hook surfcasting rigs. Its transparency makes it virtually invisible in the water.

Technique and applications

Suited to surfcasting from the beach, breakwater or rocks, this leader is used with natural baits (worms, mussels, sardines) to target sea bass, sea bream, pollock, mackerel and bottom-dwelling species. Its strength allows it to withstand powerful long-distance casts.
