Dragonbait Trout 6', a spinning trout rod combining beauty and performance
A rod designed for lure fishing enthusiasts
The Dragonbait Trout 6' perfectly reflects the world of lure trout fishing, where technical finesse blends with the pleasure of using elegant, well-designed tackle. This rod is aimed at anglers looking for a precise, responsive and comfortable tool in hand, capable of delivering technical animations in rivers.
Its fast action allows lures to be worked with liveliness and precision. It is particularly suited to dry animations, pronounced twitches and heavy sinking lures, such as dense minnows used to prospect effectively through current seams, riffles and deep lies.
A tip action for dense lures
The Dragonbait Trout 6' stands out for its lively and direct behaviour. Its tip action promotes excellent lure control, with decisive animations and good strike reactivity.
It is particularly suited to active trout fishing, when the angler needs to chain precise casts, control the drift and trigger strikes from positioned or following fish.
A traditional, high-end finish
The reel seat and butt are made from solid Maple burl, a natural maple knot that makes each rod unique. Beyond its aesthetics, the butt helps lower the balance point, which allows for a shorter handle and facilitates wrist movements.
AAA cork provides comfort, durability and a quality grip. Single-foot guides help save weight and achieve a slimmer build, while whippings made with fine, resistant thread limit the amount of epoxy varnish required. The result is a smoother, lighter assembly perfectly suited to technical fishing.
A unique rod for detail-conscious anglers
Each blank features individual decoration achieved through several successive operations, making each Dragonbait Trout Series a unique model. This attention to finish reinforces the premium character of the rod, without compromising its effectiveness on the water.
It will suit trout anglers who want a precise, tactile and elegant rod, perfectly adapted to dense hard baits and aggressive animations.
