How to choose a spinner?

Size

You should try to match the size of the prey of the predators you are targeting. Depth will also be a determining factor. For example, where a size 2 spinner is perfect at the start of the season, during low water conditions (summer water level drop), a 00 should be used to avoid snagging.

Color

Although there is no absolute rule, here are a few guidelines:

• Silver: clear waters in the morning and evening when the light fades
• Gold / copper: brown, peaty waters (tea-colored). This is the ultimate all-around color
• Black: perfect for bright sunny days or very dirty waters
• Fluo: perfect for very dirty waters or in low light conditions
