Decoy DJ-85 Fly: the assist hook with fibers for attractive jigs

The Decoy DJ-85 Fly is a single assist hook enriched with synthetic fibers (fly dressing) that give the metal jig a lifelike and natural appearance in addition to its lure properties. These fibers dance and pulse during animations, imitating the legs of a crustacean, the tentacles of a cephalopod, or the fins of a small fleeing fish.

The "Fly Dressing": enhanced visual attractiveness

The synthetic fibers of the DJ-85 Fly are selected for their ability to move through the water with maximum naturalism. During jig animations (fast rise, pause, free fall), the fibers spread and pulse, creating a lifelike silhouette very different from that of a bare hook. This additional attractiveness is particularly valuable on difficult days when fish are selective and refuse jigs that are too "clean".

Single assist for precise hook setting

The single configuration (single hook) of the DJ-85 Fly is preferred for medium-sized jigs where a double assist might tangle in the fibers. The 3/0 size is suited for jigs from 40 to 100g for slow pitch jigging and light jigging at sea.
