Description
The Sawamura One Up Shad
The One Up Shad 7'' from Sawamura is a soft lure of the shad type. It is a true best-seller that has proven itself time and again for pike and zander in freshwater and sea bass in saltwater. The tonicity of its rubber, the vibrations it produces, and its attractant make it a real fish magnet, especially when fishing gets tough.
Technical specifications
- Specific rubber tonicity
- Swims at all speeds, even very slow ones
- Shape suited for Texas rig
- Huge range of colors
- Trump attractant
Tips from our team of enthusiasts
The rig
- The One Up Shad 7'' can be used in the classic way mounted on a jig head, such as the XORUS Ultimate football 17g H4/0 or on a XORUS Shallow rig short rig.
- It can also be used as a trailer behind a spinnerbait or a chatterbait.
- It can also be rigged on a Texas hook, weighted or not, in order to prospect snag-filled areas.
The color
As for color, the starting point will be the water clarity. The clearer it is, the more you should use natural colors; the more opaque it is, the more you should use flashy or dark shades, even going as far as black. This is a base rule that will need to be adjusted day by day.
If you have any questions about choosing a rod, the rigs suited to your fishing area, or the type of line (braid, nylon, fluorocarbon) to put on your reel, don't hesitate to contact us through our website, by phone, or by visiting us in person at our Ardent Pêche store.
