The Tokara 60 was developed to target giant trevally of 60 kg. In Djibouti, a 20 kg fish will be subdued in under 2 minutes for an angler maintaining the correct rod angle of between 45° and 60°. The shortened fight time allows the fish to be released in good condition and enables the angler to optimise his pursuit of the apex predator. Designed for large poppers, the blank was built to reduce angler fatigue and generate large water explosions, allowing him to fish for many hours.
