The Flat Tricoroll 55S is a fast-sinking hard lure designed for trout fishing in rivers. Its extra-flat body and great stability allow it to quickly reach deep zones and remain effective even in powerful currents, while maintaining a highly reactive swimming action at the slightest prompt.
Rooted in Japanese expertise and developed specifically for European fishing conditions, the Flat Tricoroll 55S is the result of several years of refinement. Its design is based on close collaboration between anglers specialised in running water and a recognised designer, in order to produce a lure perfectly suited to technical rivers.
The strongly compressed silhouette of this minnow promotes a rapid sink through the water column. It effectively reaches areas close to the bottom, where trout hold out of the main current. This capability makes it a formidable lure for prospecting deep spots and strong current seams.
From the moment it enters the water, the Flat Tricoroll 55S comes to life thanks to a pronounced rolling action. It performs equally well on a downstream drift and a three-quarter downstream presentation, when the angler accompanies the lure with a semi-taut line. The pressure of the current is enough to trigger its swimming action, even with very little animation.
Its triangular lip ensures excellent stability, including in turbulent zones. The lure maintains its axis and swimming action in agitated areas, while remaining effective in calmer zones where the slightest prompt makes it oscillate naturally.
The Flat Tricoroll 55S responds perfectly to classic twitching and jerking animations. To secure catches and limit fish loss, the belly hook is mounted on a rolling swivel, improving fish retention during the fight.
