The Sling Shad 7 is a scented lure (flavor-X Shrimp attractant) whose forked tail has the ability to trigger numerous strikes, even at very low retrieve speeds (vertical fishing). While it is mainly used on a jig head, its split belly also allows very effective Texas rig setups. Whether used for a fairly fast active search or very slowly in vertical fishing, the Sling Shad 7 stands out for its ability to trigger strikes from large predators.
