A technical rod for vertical fishing
The Dragonbait NX4 Scrapping was developed for predator anglers looking for a short, maneuverable and extremely responsive rod. It is particularly suited to vertical fishing, jig head fishing and precise soft lure animations.
Its refined balance, combined with a short grip, offers excellent handling during long sessions. Mounted with a suitable reel, the rod maintains a natural balance point under the index finger, which improves control and bite detection.
A precise and resonant high-modulus blank
The Dragonbait NX4 series benefits from high-performance carbon materials, drawn in particular from Toray and Mitsubishi technologies. The use of 30T, 40T and a new IM8 carbon allows for a blank that is thinner, faster and more resilient.
On the Scrapping, this design translates into an extra fast action ideal for reflex hook sets. The first third works quickly without excessive stiffness, in order to limit hook pulls while maintaining excellent information transmission.
Sensitivity, comfort and control
The braided carbon extension placed at the front of the grip plays a key role in the rod's resonance. It improves comfort when the angler keeps a finger in contact with the blank and amplifies the perception of vibrations, bottom contact and subtle bites.
The TVSTK reel seat also promotes direct contact with the blank, for maximum feel during fishing action. The power reserve at the butt allows you to maintain control over more powerful fish or unexpected catches.
