This function is particularly useful when dealing with lively fish or during sudden runs. The angler can adjust the drag tension in a single movement, to better protect the line and follow the changes in the fish's rhythm.

With its 5 waterproof A-RB bearings and roller bearing, the Shimano Stradic CI4+ RA delivers smooth, stable and durable rotation. This smoothness improves fishing comfort, particularly during repeated retrieves or regular lure animations.

Hypergear technology optimises power transmission between the handle and the rotor. It delivers more torque and efficient retrieve, an important asset for maintaining good control, whether with feeder rigs or during demanding fights.

Optimised line management for finesse fishing

Aero Wrap II oscillation promotes precise line distribution on the spool, for clean casts and regular line release. The AR-C system also improves line management, whether using monofilament or braid.

The Power Roller helps reduce line twist and the risk of tangles. Combined with the Varispeed II line lay system, it maintains a uniform and reliable winding, even during intensive use.

The Shimano Stradic CI4+ RA range is particularly well suited to feeder fishing, where precision, smooth retrieve and drag control are essential. It is also suitable for commercial carp fishing, finesse bream and roach fishing, or versatile freshwater approaches.

Available in two models, it allows you to choose a size suited to your technique, with a 2500 version oriented towards finesse and responsiveness, and a more powerful 4000 version for fishing requiring greater capacity and control.
