Description
The Megabass Vatalion 115 F
A hard lure developed by Megabass at the request of Ultimate Fishing, the VATALION 115 F combines a compact, high-profile perch or bream shape with an ultra-realistic S-swimming action that perfectly imitates a fish. This hard lure is a combination of a swimbait, a glidebait and a lipless. Thanks to its controlled buoyancy (floating), it rises slowly during pauses and slow retrieves, triggering strikes from the most wary pike and very large bass. It is equally effective during faster retrieves where its rolling action is greatly amplified. Its specific attachment point and articulated construction allow it to work on a straight retrieve or with twitches, adapting to all situations.
Technical specifications

- 38.5g
- Floating
- Rattle
- Can swim even in very shallow water
- Suitable for different types of retrieves
- A premium finish
- Ultra-sharp hooks
Tips from our team of enthusiasts
How to use it
- A slow to medium speed straight retrieve to make it dive to approximately 50-60cm below the surface. This gives pike time to line up their attack.
- An ultra-fast stop & go retrieve to trigger reflex strikes. Be aware, it will dive deeper (up to 1.5 m) at high speed.
- A steady retrieve interspersed with jerks to work a promising spot thoroughly.
The ballasting
Don't hesitate to add weight to the Vatalion 115F with a clip-on weight on the front hook to make it run deeper, especially when fish are reluctant to move.
The paddles
It is entirely possible to add a blade on the tail treble hook. On certain days, these visual signals can make all the difference.
If you have any questions about choosing a rod, the right rigs for your fishing area, or the type of line (braid, monofilament, fluorocarbon) to put on your reel, don't hesitate to contact us via our website, by phone or by visiting us in person at our Ardent Pêche store.
