The CWC Pig Shad Small in 15 cm, a shad perfect when pike start targeting smaller prey!
The CWC Pig Shad Small in 15 cm, a shad perfect when pike start targeting smaller prey! Inspired by the famous jerkbait "The Pig", this soft lure is a true pike and zander magnet. It features an enticing rolling action and its head sways slightly from side to side on the retrieve, while its tail moves rather slowly. It is one of the reference soft lures that Pierre Monjarret uses both for guided fishing and in competitions.
The Pig Shad Tournament can be used in the classic way rigged on a jig head, such as the BKK Round Elite Classic Bait Keeper, a shallow rig such as the CWC Pro Stinger Stainless Steel Single, a screw-in head such as the BFT Flexhead Pike, or a Texas rig with an Owner BEAST Hook.
It can also be used as a trailer behind a Miuras Mouse.
As for colour, the starting point will be the conditions. The clearer the water, the more natural colours you should use; the more murky it is, the more flashy or dark shades — even black — you should go for. This is a base that will need to be adjusted day by day.
Our team has a real soft spot for two colours
