The Adam's Nano'X 8g micro spinnerbait is the most versatile model in the Nano'X range, combining casting range and intense vibrations. Its nail blade on a ball-bearing swivel performs equally well in fast-flowing rivers and large bodies of water for trout and perch.
The Adam's Nano'X 8g micro spinnerbait is the flagship model of the Nano'X range. Heavier and more versatile than its 4g and 6g counterparts, it is designed to handle fast-flowing rivers, large bodies of water and situations requiring long-distance casts. Like the entire range, it is fitted with a ball-bearing swivel and a nail blade for flawless swimming action. It is the preferred choice for anglers who want to maximise their effectiveness in the most demanding conditions.
In fast-flowing rivers, lures that are too light are quickly swept away by the current and leave the fishing zone within seconds. The Nano'X 8g, thanks to its additional weight, maintains its depth and trajectory even in difficult conditions. It can be retrieved slowly against the current while staying in the fast lane, a presentation particularly appreciated by trout holding in position.
On large flat watercourses, its weight allows longer cross-river casts that cover significant river widths, maximising the area prospected with each cast.
At 8g, the Nano'X achieves casting distances significantly greater than the lighter versions. This range is invaluable on calm still water where fish are often wary and require a long-distance approach, or on wide rivers where you need to reach central currents from the bank without wading.
The casting trajectory is also flatter and more precise, making it easier to place the lure under overhanging branches or against obstacles where fish hold.
While the Nano'X 4g and 6g are primarily tools for trout and light perch fishing, the 8g opens the door to targeting larger species: lake trout, large perch, active asp on the surface, and chub in strong currents. Its nail blade produces vibrations intense enough to attract fish of 35 to 50 cm that would ignore smaller lures.
To maximise the effectiveness of the Nano'X 8g, opt for a two-phase retrieve: a fast phase of around ten turns to bring the lure up in the water column, followed by a slow retrieve that lets the lure work at the desired depth. This technique creates depth variations that imitate the behaviour of a fish in pursuit and often triggers strikes at the moment of the change of pace. Pair it with a fine braid of 4 to 8/100 and a fluorocarbon leader of 12 to 20/100 for optimal casting and maximum stealth.
