The EXPLORER TACKLE Magic Shallow stands out with a flat profile that increases its lift in the water. This specific design slows the descent and creates a particularly attractive gliding effect during the fall phases.

On the retrieve, the pressure exerted on its flat face causes a natural lateral movement, perfectly simulating the motion of prey. This subtle animation is particularly effective at triggering strikes from difficult fish, especially during drift prospecting in shallow areas.

Optimised shrimp presentation

The Magic Shallow's design is conceived to keep the bait perfectly in place and deliver a realistic presentation. The anti-slip pin effectively locks the shrimp so it does not slide along the shank during animations or in strong currents.

The main hook, reinforced and ultra-sharp, naturally follows the shape of the shrimp to ensure a discreet and natural presentation, ideal for fooling the most wary sparids.

Ultra-effective assist hook

The Magic Shallow is fitted with a robust assist hook featuring a particularly sharp round hook. Its size perfectly matches the mouth morphology of sparids.

Placed in the head of the shrimp, this additional point considerably increases the chances of a successful hook-up. Even the most discreet bites are effectively converted.

Enhanced attractiveness through silicone strands

The assist hook braid is complemented by fine strands of fluorescent silicone matching the colour of the tenya. Long and supple, they imitate the legs and antennae of a shrimp.

Their movement in the water generates slight vibrations that enhance the attractiveness of the rig and stimulate predators' strike instinct.

Stand-up position to limit snagging

The flat section located under the jig head allows the tenya to consistently lie flat on the bottom. The hook remains angled at approximately 45°, in a raised position, which greatly reduces the risk of snagging.

This configuration keeps the shrimp in a natural posture and improves effectiveness on discreet bites, which are common when fishing for sparids.
