The Biwaa Raffal 4 / 100mm is the compact format of the Raffal range. At 100mm and 43g, it is compatible with lighter tackle and suits situations where predators are less responsive to larger sizes: after intense fishing pressure, in cold water, or for targeting perch and zander in shallow areas.
Even at 100mm, the Raffal 4 retains all the qualities of the range: density close to wood for a suspended swim during pauses, S-glide action on the twitch, ultra-realistic Clone Technology finish. This size is particularly suited to river fishing, where the moderate size better matches the natural prey present (minnows, bleak, roach) than larger sizes.
The Raffal 4 can be fished with an aggressive twitch for wide, energetic glides, or with a light twitch for shorter, slower glides. The pause between each animation is often decisive: the lure, suspended mid-water thanks to its calibrated density, attracts the attention of predators before resuming its glide on the next twitch. This so-called "pause and go" technique is particularly deadly for pike in difficult conditions.
