ILLEX Native spoon 5g wobbling spoon

ILLEX Native spoon 5g wobbling spoon

A spoon designed for river trout fishing

The ILLEX Native spoon 5g wobbling spoon was developed to meet the demands of trout anglers looking for a lure capable of working effectively in small and medium-sized rivers. Its slender and slightly curved profile promotes a natural movement through the water, with a presentation particularly well-suited to slow, shallow areas.

A wide wobble and a very enticing sink

The NATIVE stands out with its wide, high-amplitude wobble while maintaining a low intensity. This behavior allows it to remain attractive without appearing excessive — an important asset when targeting wary or educated fish. On the sink, it produces an oscillation accompanied by a very pronounced rolling effect, capable of triggering an attack from a trout holding along a bank or beneath a submerged obstacle.

Ideal for precise spots and cluttered areas

This wobbling spoon reveals its full potential when presented as close as possible to structures. Undercut banks, submerged branches, sunken obstacles or natural hideouts — it allows you to target with precision the spots where trout lie in ambush. Its sink behavior is a genuine advantage for triggering reflex strikes in these technical areas.

A versatile lure for river and reservoir

While it excels in small and medium-sized rivers, the NATIVE remains highly effective in reservoirs as well. It is particularly well-suited to relatively slow and shallow stretches, where its natural action and attractive sink make all the difference. It is a versatile lure to include in any selection of spoons intended for trout fishing.
