The Dragonbait NX4 Big Bait is aimed at anglers looking for a high-performance casting rod to propel and animate large lures with precision. Derived from the evolution of the Dragonbait range, this NX4 version features thinner, faster and more resilient blanks, constructed from Toray and Mitsubishi high-modulus carbon.

Its design offers an excellent compromise between responsiveness, power and comfort of use. It faithfully transmits lure animations while retaining sufficient reserve to handle powerful fish.

A reactive and precise blank

The Dragonbait NX4 Big Bait features a fast action ideal for delivering clean and controlled lure animations. This responsiveness allows you to work hard lures such as big baits, jerkbaits or minnows effectively, as well as certain soft lures used weightless.

The braided carbon extension at the front of the handle improves contact with the blank when fishing with a finger resting on the rod. It also contributes to vibration transmission, for better perception of bites and lure behaviour.

Excellent balance for float tube fishing

Thanks to its ergonomic handle and careful balance, this rod is particularly pleasant to use in a float tube. The impregnated wood insert at the butt helps optimise weight distribution, providing a stable and comfortable grip during long sessions.
