Designed for fishing horse mackerel and rockfish in Japan, the SV 51 H paired with a small slender soft lure delivers a highly erratic action that triggers reflex strikes from fast fish. This technique, known as winding or darting, involves animating the lure with short, sharp, successive rod tip twitches to produce unpredictable lateral darts and trigger an aggressive reflex. This animation is particularly effective for targeting inactive fish that need to be provoked into aggression.
