The Smith Amuro 250 is a sea spinning rod designed for heavy stand-up fishing, with a design oriented towards large marine predators. It was developed for bluefin tuna fishing, while offering the resources needed to take on the largest GT trevally.
With its stated goal of targeting fish up to approximately 114 kg, the Amuro 250 is aimed at experienced anglers looking for a reliable, powerful rod capable of withstanding highly demanding fights.
A strong power reserve, without sacrificing comfort
Despite its significant power, the Smith Amuro 250 remains pleasant to use within its category. Its great resilience allows it to sustain high pressure while supporting the angler's work during the fight.
It performs at its best when used with a suitable articulated fighting belt. The integrated gimbal makes it possible to secure support during fights with fish weighing several tens of kilograms, particularly when pressure must be maintained for a long time.

The Amuro 250 benefits from the blank of the Offshore Stick GTK series, built from 30T and 40T carbon reinforced with kevlar and titanium. This combination of materials offers excellent resistance while maintaining good elasticity.
This construction gives the rod a behaviour that is both powerful, responsive and comfortable when casting. It allows heavy lures to be propelled efficiently while retaining the necessary reserve to fight very powerful fish.
