The Lew's Laser MG Speed Spool is a casting reel designed to offer an excellent combination of lightness, smoothness, and strength. Its one-piece graphite frame, paired with graphite side plates, keeps the reel comfortable in hand while ensuring good rigidity during fishing action.

Its comfortable format makes it easy to handle and promotes good control during repeated casts. It is aimed at anglers looking for a reliable reel for lure fishing, with precise mechanics and consistent retrieve.

Smooth and durable mechanics

The 8 stainless steel bearing system, combined with Zero Reverse anti-reverse, ensures smooth, consistent, and responsive rotation. This design maintains a good sense of control, both during lure animation and during retrieves under tension.

The Speed Gears mechanisms in solid copper, precision-machined on a Hamai CNC machine, enhance the reel's reliability and guarantee efficient power transmission. The main shaft and solid copper gears also contribute to the overall durability.

Precise casting control

The MCS magnetic control system, adjustable from the outside, makes it easy to fine-tune spool braking according to the lure used and fishing conditions. It helps control casts, improve accuracy, and reduce the risk of backlashes.

The 35 mm anodized forged aluminum spool offers good rotational stability, while the anodized aluminum spool tension adjustment knob allows fine-tuning of the reel's behavior.

A reliable drag to stay in control

The Rulon drag delivers progressive and consistent power, ideal for managing fights with hard-fighting fish. Its fully adjustable dial allows precise brake pressure adjustment to suit any situation.
