The Vatalion 190 SF by Megabass is a large crankbait with a realistic swimming action and formidable effectiveness on trophy predators.
Developed by Megabass at the request of Ultimate Fishing, the VATALION 190 SF combines a compact high-profile body resembling a perch or bream and an ultra-realistic S-shaped swimming action that perfectly imitates a fish. This hard lure is a combination of a swimbait, a glide bait and a lipless. Thanks to its controlled buoyancy (SF = Slow Floating), it rises slowly during pauses and slow retrieves, triggering strikes from the most wary pike and very large largemouth bass. It is equally effective during faster retrieves where its rolling action is amplified. Its specific attachment point and articulated construction allow it to work on a straight retrieve or in a twitch, adapting to all situations.

How to use it
- A slow to medium speed straight retrieve to make it dive to approximately 50-60 cm below the surface. This gives the pike time to lock on to its attack.
- An ultra-fast stop & go retrieve to trigger reflex strikes. Be aware, it will dive deeper (up to 1.5 m) at high speed.
- A straight retrieve interspersed with jerks to insist near a promising spot.
Weighting
Do not hesitate to weight the Vatalion 115F with a clip-on lead on the eyelet provided for this purpose, located under the nose of the lure. A real advantage for making it run deeper, especially when fish are reluctant to move.
The blades
It is perfectly possible to add a blade to the rear treble hook. On some days these visual signals can make all the difference.
