A reference stickbait for surface fishing

A simple and effective swimming action

The ILLEX Bonnie 107 surface lure adopts a classic stickbait shape, designed to make walking the dog animation easy. Its lateral glide is natural, wide, and regular, even at a moderate pace.

It responds instantly to rod input and maintains excellent stability on pauses. This ease of animation makes it an accessible lure while remaining deadly in the hands of an experienced angler.

A powerful and distinctive sound signature

Equipped with several tungsten balls, the Bonnie 107 combines perfect balance with intense sound signal. The balls, separated by a compartmented body, knock against the internal walls and emit a distinctive sound across different frequencies.

This acoustic signature plays a key role in its attractiveness, particularly when conditions reduce visibility. It draws the attention of predators from a distance and provokes reflex strikes.

Robust construction and quality finish

Compartmented body and optimised rigidity

The compartmented internal structure provides excellent rigidity throughout the lure. It improves overall strength while optimising the distribution and separation of the balls for consistent sound performance.

Its high density promotes long and accurate casts, even into the wind, while maintaining good surface stability.

Reliable and adaptable hook arrangement

The Bonnie 107 is fitted with two BKK treble hooks in size 2, renowned for their sharpness and strength.

For anglers wishing to reduce hook-ups or comply with certain regulations, the hook arrangement can be replaced with single hooks, such as VMC 7237 in size 2/0, not included.

A versatile lure for many situations

The ILLEX Bonnie 107 surface lure is aimed at anglers looking for a universal stickbait, capable of adapting to different contexts and species.

Main recommended retrieves:

• Walking the dog, slow to fast pace.
• Stop and go to trigger strikes on the pauses.

Its ability to generate spectacular surface strikes makes it a strategic choice whenever predators are feeding near the top of the water column.
