The Smith LTD D-Contact 110: a must-have Heavy Weight hard lure for trout, pike, sea bass and bonito.
The D-Contact 110 from Smith LTD: the large size of the famous jerkbait, a must-have for big trout, pike, sea bass and bonito. Its density allows it to reach incredible distances even into the wind. The very high density of this hard lure allows it to fish where others cannot. On the drop it "flutters" by oscillating side to side, a devastating action for triggering bites from stationary fish. Moreover, it is silent, which is a real advantage on days when trout are wary. Perfect also for slow trolling.
Our team's favourite
As for colour, the starting point is the water clarity. The clearer it is, the more natural colours you should use; the more coloured or murky it is, the more you should use flashy or dark shades, even going as far as black. This is a base to adjust day by day.
If you have any questions about choosing a rod, rigs suited to your fishing area, or the type of line (monofilament, braid, fluorocarbon) to use on your reel, do not hesitate to contact us via our website, by phone or by visiting our Ardent Pêche shop directly.
