The Gator Catfish is the lure to pull out when a large pike is lurking in the area. Its slow and realistic rolling tail, combined with its flipper paddle, displaces a considerable amount of water and generates powerful micro-vibrations that trigger instinctive strikes. Designed to imitate a small loach or catfish, the preferred food of large pike, this lure is deadly rigged shallow or on a jig head, on a fast or ultra-slow retrieve. For large females, an extremely slow retrieve is recommended.
