The BBZ 6'' UV Slow Sinking by Spro, an iconic articulated swimbait that you simply cast and retrieve for the magic to happen! This lure is made in three parts, including the tail, which is made of soft plastic. Slightly denser than water, it sinks at a rate of 1 metre per second. You can make it sink faster by adding extra weights at the belly eyelet. This version features paint that reacts to UV light, a nice bonus on certain days.
On a straight retrieve, cast and reel in slowly and the lure will produce a beautiful S-shaped swimming action with a slight rolling motion. Do not hesitate to vary retrieval speeds and add small twitches.
On a clear bottom, do not hesitate to let it settle on the bottom and wait a few seconds before reeling in again. On some days, pike like to pick up their prey from the bottom.
