The AFTCO Wiremax gloves are specially developed for anglers practising sea fishing, big game or any technique requiring the handling of heavy mono, wire or cable leaders. Their technical design aims to significantly reduce the risks of cuts, burns and abrasions during critical phases, particularly at the moment of hook-setting or when bringing the fish on board.

The palm, fingers and thumb incorporate closed-cell EVA foam covered with Armortex® material, recognised for its very high abrasion resistance. This combination provides an effective barrier against mechanical stress while maintaining good flexibility.

Precision and control in all conditions

The Durable Tacky-Grip palm improves grip on slippery or wet lines, allowing optimal control even under high tension. The Spandura® finger gussets promote finger mobility and ensure appreciable dexterity for tying knots, adjusting a rig or handling a hook with precision.

The foam-lined mesh helps keep fingers cool while providing additional comfort during extended use.

Secure hold and reliable fit

The neoprene wrap-around strap, combined with a Velcro® closure on a woven wristband, ensures a firm and stable fit. This system limits the risk of snagging on leaders and guarantees a safe hold during fishing action.
