Description
Red Pepper by Tiemco
The Tiemco Red Pepper stickbait is a surface lure that can truly make a difference thanks to its atypical characteristics. It is silent, streamlined, holds itself vertically with its head out of the water at rest, dives just below the surface with a low-rod-tip retrieve, and has a completely erratic action. It is clearly a hard lure that bass, pike, perch and other predators in both freshwater and saltwater are not used to seeing.
Key features
- 3 fixed stabilizing balls: long-distance casting, vertical positioning at rest.
- Aerodynamic profile
- Silent
- Swims below the surface during low-rod-tip retrieves
- Unpredictable action
Tips from our team of enthusiasts
Color selection
Opt for a transparent color for sunny days, an opaque version when light fades at dawn and dusk, and don't forget a white model when the cloud ceiling is low.
Our saltwater team has a real soft spot for two colors
- 134: for fishing in clear water,
- 522: for fishing in colored water in low light and at night.
Our freshwater team loves these two colors
- 933: for fishing in clear water
- 516: for fishing in colored water in low light.
The retrieve
You can work it "walking the dog" style or with a low rod tip to make it dive slightly below the surface — deadly when fish refuse a classic retrieve.
If you have any questions about the choice of a rod, the rigs suited to your fishing area, or the type of line (braid, monofilament, fluorocarbon) to set up on your reel, do not hesitate to contact us through our website, by phone, or by visiting us in person at our Ardent Pêche store.
