AIRDRIVE DESIGN, fluidity and control on the cast

The Saltiga G 2023 benefits from the AIRDRIVE DESIGN concept, an architecture developed around the key elements of the reel: rotor, bail, spool and shaft. This design aims to reduce inertia, improve rotation and enhance the feeling of control.

The AIRDRIVE ROTOR reduces strain during retrieval and delivers a lighter, smoother rotation. The result is excellent handle responsiveness, with a feeling of fluidity that is greatly appreciated during technical animations as well as during demanding fights.

A reinforced design for saltwater fishing

The MQ aluminium monocoque body ensures high rigidity and excellent protection of the internal mechanics. This one-piece structure allows the integration of a Tough Digigear drive gear in G1 duralumin, for reliable and long-lasting power transmission.

The Zaion rotor contributes to the balance of the reel while maintaining a high level of resistance. This combination of lightness and robustness delivers a reel perfectly suited to the demands of saltwater fishing.

An optimised spool and shaft for performance

The AIRDRIVE SPOOL improves line flow by limiting friction. Its design promotes smoother casts and better line management, particularly with the thin braids used in modern fishing.
