Description
13 Fishing Modus TX2 casting reel
A casting reel designed for saltwater
The Modus TX2 was developed to meet the demands of saltwater fishing. Rare in the casting world, this model combines a compact profile, good line capacity, and an anti-corrosion design suited to saline environments.
It is designed for anglers looking for a reliable reel to target coastal predators, with enough power to stay in control during hard-fought battles.
A corrosion-resistant construction
The Modus TX2 features a zero-corrosion frame, designed to offer better durability in saltwater environments. Its anti-corrosion bearings enhance the reel's reliability, even during regular use in demanding conditions.
The perforated aluminum spool provides lightness, responsiveness, and durability, while offering a capacity suited to saltwater fishing needs.
A smooth and precise mechanism
The Japanese aluminum Hamai Cut gears ensure smooth, regular, and reliable retrieval. Their precise machining maintains good power transmission during lure animations, fast retrieves, and fights.
The Dead Stop anti-reverse system delivers excellent hook-set responsiveness, with a direct and reassuring feel during fishing.
Effective casting control
The 6-way centrifugal brake allows you to adjust spool behavior according to the lure used, wind conditions, and desired distance. This adjustment offers a good level of control, particularly useful at sea where conditions can change quickly.
The Arrowhead line guide promotes clean line lay, while the integrated KeepR lure hook provides real comfort between drifts or spots.
A powerful drag for coastal predators
The multi-material drag offers progressive and reassuring power to control hard-fighting fish. It maintains good pressure during the fight while preserving the smoothness needed to protect the line.
The cork handles provide a pleasant and natural grip, with a understated style that reinforces the reel's identity.
