The Dragonbait NX4 Straight Vertical 2 follows in the footsteps of the most popular models in the Dragonbait range, with a notable evolution in blank design and fishing comfort. Built for demanding anglers, it offers excellent sensitivity and great precision in lure animation, particularly for vertical fishing, drop shot, and light soft lures.
Its premium blank, made from Toray and Mitsubishi carbon, benefits from a modern construction combining reactivity, finesse, and resilience. This design allows the slightest information transmitted by the lure to be felt, while retaining sufficient reserve to set the hook effectively and control predators.
A reactive and sensitive blank
The Dragonbait NX4 Straight Vertical 2 follows the spirit of the Straight Verticale LX, with a slightly longer blank and a broader range of use. This evolution adds versatility, whether for weightless rigs, drop shot fishing, light jig heads, or small hard lures.
The braided carbon extension at the front of the handle improves comfort when the angler keeps a finger on the blank. Its hollow structure also acts as a true resonance chamber, enhancing the perception of takes and bottom contact.
