The Dragonbait NX4 Versatile 2 was developed for predator anglers looking for a casting rod capable of adapting to a wide range of techniques. Its fast action delivers excellent casting reactivity, precise lure animation, and direct transmission of takes.
From the NX4 series, it benefits from a high-end design based on high-performance carbon materials, selected for their fineness, fast response, and power reserve.
A fast, sensitive, and powerful high-modulus blank
The blank of the Dragonbait NX4 Versatile 2 combines Toray and Mitsubishi carbon materials, incorporating next-generation materials such as IM8, 30T, and 40T. This construction produces a rod that is more responsive, thinner, and more resonant, while retaining excellent resilience.
Its substantial power reserve in the butt section allows you to effectively control a strong predator, even during hard-fought battles or when fishing close to snags.
A design built for precision
Fitted with 10 SIC guides, this rod optimizes casting accuracy, line flow, and in-action sensitivity. The ACS-M16 reel seat ensures a secure grip and excellent control of the rod-reel combination.
The braided carbon extension located at the front of the handle improves comfort when fishing with a finger on the blank. It also acts as a resonance chamber, to better feel contacts, subtle takes, and changes in bottom composition.
