Its posture at rest is oblique. Small twitches will make it perform a perfect "walking the dog". Sharper pulls will send it briefly below the surface film with a disorganized left/right movement. A firm jerk will increase its oscillation before diving. The position of the balancing beads (low frequency and relatively quiet) at the rear of the lure helps optimise casting distances.
