Description
Megabass Orochi X10 F7 71 XT Swamp Survivor, a casting rod for power fishing
A rod designed for large soft lures
The Megabass Orochi X10 F7 71 XT Swamp Survivor is designed for anglers looking for a high-performing casting rod for power fishing with large soft lures. It proves particularly well suited to straight-retrieve fishing with lures such as the Magdraft 6'' or Magslow 7''.
Its medium fast action provides an excellent balance between casting accuracy, lure control, and hookset responsiveness. It allows a regular retrieve animation to be maintained while retaining a good power reserve to respond to hard strikes.
A reference rod for frogs in heavy cover
The Swamp Survivor lives up to its name. It is also recommended for using frog imitations in weed beds, deadwood, dense edges, or heavily vegetated areas.
Its power allows fish to be quickly reined in and extracted from cover with authority. It is perfectly suited to targeting black bass and pike when strikes occur in challenging areas.
An X10 blank in organic fibers
The Orochi X10 series stands out through the use of organic fibers incorporating natural materials, such as cellulose microfibrils. This construction provides excellent shock absorption and remarkable vibration dampening, while maintaining great lightness.
The blank delivers a smooth and progressive action, ideal for working lures, reducing hook pulls, and maintaining precise control during fights. The Megabass Orochi X10 F7 71 XT Swamp Survivor is thus aimed at demanding anglers who want a powerful, comfortable, and effective rod for power fishing.
