Description
Shimano Grappler BB 151 HG casting reel
A casting reel designed for saltwater fishing
The Shimano Grappler BB 151 HG is designed for anglers who fish with lures in saltwater and are looking for a reel that is solid, smooth, and capable of handling demanding fishing sessions. It is perfectly suited to techniques requiring power, precision, and fast retrieval.
Versatile, it can be used for various approaches such as casting, light jigging, or active lure fishing, with mechanics designed to remain reliable over time.
A robust and durable build
Its aluminum frame provides excellent overall rigidity, ensuring good mechanical stability during aggressive retrieves and hard-fought battles. This design enhances power transmission and improves user comfort.
The shielded bearings contribute to the reel's smoothness while improving its resistance in the harsh conditions encountered at sea.
Fast and efficient retrieve
With its high gear ratio, the Grappler BB 151 HG allows for fast line retrieval and maintains constant contact with the lure. This speed is particularly useful for active fishing, fast retrieves, or situations where line tension needs to be quickly regained after a cast or a drop.
The Level Wind system ensures even line distribution on the spool, improving user comfort and reducing the risk of tangles.
A progressive carbon drag for the fight
The carbon drag system delivers steady, progressive pressure during the fight. It allows you to control powerful fish while maintaining good line tension management.
The single aluminum handle, combined with an ergonomic knob, provides a comfortable and secure grip, even during sustained retrieves or prolonged fights.
