Description
Dragonbait Trout LX 6'6, a lightweight, tactile and balanced trout spinning rod
A luxury version optimized for more sensation
The Dragonbait Trout LX 6'6 takes the spirit of the Trout series and adds a premium finish and technical optimizations aimed at the most demanding anglers. Its matte blank provides greater discretion at the water's edge, while the reworked balance improves comfort and precision of retrieves.
This rod was designed to offer more lightness, more responsiveness and a faster action. It is perfectly suited to finesse trout fishing, where sensitivity and reactivity are essential for detecting the most subtle bites.
A fast action for precise lure reading
The Trout LX 6'6 stands out for its fast action and tactile tip, ideal for feeling the slightest movement of the lure. It allows excellent contact to be maintained during the retrieve and subtle bites to be quickly identified, even when fish are wary.
Its responsiveness promotes precise and dynamic retrieves, while retaining excellent hooking efficiency. To reduce the risk of hook pulls, it pairs very well with a long elastic fluorocarbon leader.
Premium components for comfort and performance
The reel seat and butt are made from solid Maple burl, or maple knot, offering a unique and elegant finish. Beyond its aesthetic aspect, the butt helps lower the balance point of the rod, allowing a shorter handle to be used and facilitating wrist movements.
AAA cork provides comfort, strength and quality grip. The first guides fitted with Fuji Titanium contribute to the lightness and slenderness of the whole, while bindings made with fine, strong thread limit the addition of epoxy varnish for a smoother and lighter result.
A high-end rod for precise trout anglers
The Dragonbait Trout LX 6'6 is aimed at anglers who prioritize feel, precision and control of their retrieve. Highly tactile and responsive, it is particularly suited to technical lure fishing, where every vibration, every contact and every bite must be perfectly perceived.
