Dragonbait Trout LX Series, a lightweight, high-end trout spinning rod
A luxury version optimized for technical fishing
The Dragonbait Trout LX Series takes the spirit of the Dragonbait Trout and brings targeted improvements in discretion, balance and action speed. Its matte blank reduces reflections at the water's edge, while the redesigned handle and butt balance offer better grip.
This luxury version is aimed at trout anglers looking for a precise, responsive and comfortable rod, capable of faithfully transmitting the slightest lure movements, even at distance.
An extra fast action for maximum sensation
The Dragonbait Trout LX 7' stands out for its extra fast action, ideal for feeling vibrations, contacts and subtle bites. It allows excellent lure control to be maintained, whether with a dense crankbait, a technical small minnow or a soft lure worked on a drift.
It performs particularly well on medium rivers, where cast precision, reading the current and hooking reactivity are essential.
A luxury, elegant and functional finish
The reel seat and butt are made from solid Maple burl, a naturally aesthetic maple knot that gives each rod a unique finish. Beyond its visual appeal, the butt helps lower the balance point, allowing a shorter handle to be maintained and facilitating wrist movements.
AAA cork enhances comfort, strength and the overall perceived quality. The first guides fitted with Fuji Titanium contribute to the lightness and slenderness of the rod, while bindings made with fine, strong thread limit the use of epoxy varnish for a smoother and lighter build.
A precise rod for crankbaits and soft lures
This rod is perfectly suited to technical retrieves with lures such as the D-Contact, D-Incite or small soft lures. Its sensitivity keeps you connected to the lure, while its reactivity ensures clean and precise hook sets.
The Dragonbait Trout LX Series will suit anglers who want a high-end, balanced and high-performing rod for approaching finesse trout fishing with precision and efficiency.
