This luxury edition enhances the qualities of the classic Dragonbait Trout with a more discreet matte blank, a redesigned handle, improved balance, and a lighter build.

Three years of testing were required to achieve the right balance between speed, sensitivity, lightness, and power. The result is a precise, responsive, and comfortable rod, perfectly suited to large rivers and powerful fish.

An ideal rod for large rivers

This Dragonbait Trout LX is aimed at anglers looking for a rod capable of casting far, maintaining contact with the lure, and effectively controlling drifts. Its fast action allows for precise lure animation with minnow plugs, while retaining excellent sensitivity to bites and changes in current.

It is particularly well suited to D-Contact type lures in sizes ranging from 63 to 110 mm. Its power reserve handles aggressive strikes and keeps the upper hand on big trout, even in fast or snag-filled areas.

A luxury finish with premium materials

The handle incorporates unique pieces of Maple burl, a solid maple knot prized for its aesthetics and density. The butt also helps lower the balance point, which allows for a shorter handle and makes wrist movements easier during lure animation.

AAA cork provides comfort, durability, and a quality grip. Fine, strong thread wraps minimize the need for epoxy coating, resulting in a smoother, lighter, and livelier build.

A precise and lightweight build

The first three guides are fitted with Fuji Titanium to improve lightness, fineness, and responsiveness. Depending on the model, single-foot or double-foot guides are used to optimize the balance between strength, sensitivity, and weight savings.
