A line-reserve reel for toc trout fishing

The Garbolino Proxima Toc 65 is designed for trout anglers who fish toc-style, with natural baits, using adjustable-length rods or internal line rods. Its line-reserve design allows a good quantity of nylon to be kept available, while maintaining excellent control during drifts.

Its design, close to a fly reel with a vertical spool, is distinguished by a reversed winding. The line enters from the top of the spool, closest to the rod, which facilitates handling and improves control during fishing.

Simple and efficient line management

The Proxima Toc 65 allows a few metres of line to be pulled out quickly for casting or extending a drift. It also offers the possibility of retrieving line quickly in order to reduce the risk of tangles in branches, bushes or cluttered bankside vegetation.

This ease of handling is particularly useful on the river, when precision and reactivity are essential for correctly following the line and maintaining a natural bait presentation.

Smooth and progressive disc drag

This reel is equipped with a lateral disc drag, both smooth and powerful. It allows the pressure on the line to be adjusted during the fight, as well as controlling the spool rotation when the angler pulls line out manually.

This adjustment helps prevent spool overrun and provides greater comfort during technical phases, particularly in currents or when facing lively fish.

Reversible and practical design

The Garbolino Proxima Toc 65 can be configured for right-handed or left-handed anglers. The direction change is made by disassembling and reassembling a few parts, using simple tools.
