Description

Okuma ITX CB spinning reel

Okuma ITX CB spinning reel by Okuma: this reel for lure fishing in freshwater and at sea adopts a 100% carbon concept to offer a perfect balance between a lightweight design, robust construction, and unmatched performance. The frame and rotor are made of C-40X carbon, which provides a 30% weight saving compared to the classic ITX model. The rotor with CFR technology allows faster drying and thus reduces the risk of corrosion. The carbon handle allows for improved responsiveness and control.

  • Multi-disc carbon drag equipped with Hydro Block seals

Which spinning reel should you choose?

Rod balance

Choose a reel suited to your rod — that is, a reel that will balance the rod, but also one that will allow you to cast the lures intended for the rod's power rating.

The gear ratio

Another important point is the retrieve ratio. A standard ratio is 75–80 cm of retrieve per handle turn. You will therefore need to choose your reel's ratio according to the fishing techniques you wish to use.

If you have any questions about choosing a rod, the rigs suitable for your fishing area, or the type of line (braid, nylon, fluorocarbon) to put on your reel, do not hesitate to contact us through our website, by phone, or by visiting us in person at our Ardent Pêche store.
