The Kirinji 90 is a wakebait-type lure that runs up to 10cm below the surface. Its hydrodynamic head features cavities that let water pass through, creating very pronounced wobbling and rolling actions without pulling too hard on the rod. The concave shape of its head also gives it the ability to be used as a popper. The water-flow mechanism generates water sprays combined with bubble formations that attract predators from afar. Very stable, its particular shape allows it to remain effective in waves and currents at any retrieve speed.
