SMITH Dragonbait seabass 74 MH spinning rod

Dragonbait Sea-Bass 74 MH, sea spinning rod for bass fishing

A rod developed for European anglers

The Dragonbait Sea-Bass 74 MH is part of a series specifically designed to meet the expectations of experienced anglers, particularly in France, around bass fishing with lures. Inspired by the spirit of high-performance rods, it focuses on sensitivity, precision and ease of use to accompany sea sessions.

Its butt-plus-one-section format maintains excellent bite transmission while offering an action suited to technical bass fishing.

Versatility for surface lures and soft lures

This sea spinning rod stands out for its great versatility. It allows effective fishing with surface lures, to prospect shallow areas or trigger visual strikes, as well as with jig heads combined with soft lures.

Its power range allows the use of a wide selection of lures commonly used for bass, with enough reserve to control fish in currents, rocky areas or exposed shorelines.

Sensitivity and control in action

The Dragonbait Sea-Bass 74 MH was designed to offer precise reading of the lure and the bottom. This sensitivity is particularly valuable during slow animations, controlled drifts or scratching techniques with soft lures.

Its well-proportioned handle provides good support during casts as well as during fights. It offers a balance suited to long sessions while retaining the responsiveness needed to strike quickly at the bite.
