The CERTATE 24 SW represents the reinforced version of the legendary Daiwa reel, specially developed for the demanding conditions of sea fishing. Designed to withstand heavy stress, it combines rigidity, power and smoothness to offer a reliable tool for anglers practising shore jigging, light to medium jigging or powerful shore fishing.

AIRDRIVE DESIGN, improved smoothness and control

The CERTATE 24 SW integrates the AIRDRIVE DESIGN concept, a modern architecture that optimises the performance of the front section of the reel. This design acts on several key elements such as the rotor, spool, shaft and bail arm in order to reduce friction and improve the feeling of smoothness.

This technology results in a reel that is more pleasant to handle while retaining the rigidity and power needed for battles with powerful fish.

Robust construction for heavy fishing

The Monocoque aluminium body provides remarkable rigidity to the entire reel. This design accommodates a stronger and better-protected mechanism, notably through the integration of a G1 Duraluminium drive gear renowned for its resistance and durability.

The Zaion rotor contributes to lightening the overall assembly while maintaining excellent solidity, thus improving balance and comfort during repeated animations.

A powerful and progressive drag

The CERTATE 24 SW is equipped with a micrometric front drag featuring carbon discs. This system guarantees significant power while maintaining excellent progressiveness.

ATD-L technology improves the initial drag response, particularly useful with lighter lines. It allows better absorption of fish runs, reduces the risk of line breakage and maintains optimal control during the fight.

Designed for comfort during fishing

The one-piece aluminium handle screwed directly into the body reinforces the strength of the transmission and improves responsiveness during retrieve. The round EVA handle, specially designed for saltwater use, offers an excellent grip even during intense fights.

Combined with the LC-ABS Long Cast spool and cross-wrap line lay, this configuration ensures efficient line management and promotes clean, consistent casting.
