The rod : The Tenryu Injection BC 80 XXH is a casting rod designed for fishing large pike with shads, swimbaits and other big baits. Its blank is made of 87% carbon and 13% fibreglass in order to produce a resonant rod with enough flexibility to cast large lures comfortably and efficiently while minimising the risk of hook-pulls.

The reel : what better than the reference casting reel for big bait fishing, the Calcutta Conquest 301 MD XG. Ultra robust, ultra smooth (12 bearings), it benefits from the best Shimano technologies to guarantee very high-level performance.

The braid : we selected the YGK Ultra Castman WX8 braid in PE4, which is capable of withstanding repeated casts with large lures and eliminates the risk of breakage in case of a bird's nest. In addition to being very durable, it is also super smooth and supple, which will allow you to gain a few extra metres with every cast.
