Which Sakura rod to choose?

Lure weight

To choose the right rod, you first need to consider the weight of the lures you will be casting. The maximum weight must not exceed the action range specified for the rod.

Rod length

As for length, a boat rod will tend to be rather short (up to around 2m) in order to stay within the sounder beam, but also because, unlike a rod designed to fish far from the bank which will be rather long (from 2m40-50 onwards), you will have fewer obstacles to work around, fewer headwinds to cast into, etc.
