GUNKI Overtake Skill ED-C casting rod

A versatile rod at the heart of the Overtake range

The Skill Edition series represents the most versatile variant of the GUNKI Overtake range. The ED-C casting models were designed to cover a wide spectrum of techniques while maintaining consistent action and excellent feel. This versatility makes it a rod suited to both regular anglers and those who wish to limit the number of combos without compromising on effectiveness.

Manoeuvrability and casting precision

The short handle noticeably improves manoeuvrability, particularly during precise and repeated casts. This design facilitates lure work and line control, whether prospecting or during more pronounced retrieves. The rod remains comfortable to use over long sessions, even when demands are high.

A clear orientation towards demanding techniques

The C-210H version stands out for its power, allowing more demanding techniques to be tackled. It is particularly well suited to targeting larger fish, such as zander, big perch or pike. It responds effectively to the demands of lures that pull hard on the rod, while retaining good power reserves for the fight.

Effective with high-resistance lures

This rod is very comfortable with techniques such as spinnerbait or heavy cranking, where consistent action and line control are essential. It is also perfectly suited to rubber jig fishing, offering a good compromise between sensitivity and authority during hook sets.
