The Flap Slap is a relatively high flat-sided crankbait that displaces a large volume of water while producing high-frequency vibrations that attract predators from a distance. The weighting of the lure, positioned along the lower part of its body, generates a pronounced rolling action that produces significant flashes similar to those of a much larger lure, imitating fleeing prey. Highly responsive, it is easy to animate and springs into action from the very first turn of the handle. During pauses, it slowly rises back through the water column while maintaining a natural pendulum action that entices predators to strike. The Flap Slap dives down to 1.60 m and can be used with a regular straight retrieve, punctuated with pauses or jerks.
